Schizandra
is a widely respected tonic herb considered by the Chinese to be on
a par with Ginseng and Ganoderma. Schizandra is known as Wu Wei Zi in
China which literally means five tastes as it tastes simultaneously
sweet, sour, bitter, salty and spicy.
