EM-1is a concentrated mother culture to produce EM (Efficient Micro-organisms/Microbes) in the form of Bokashi or Activated EM-1.
Bokashi is a brewed product using water, bran and molasses in an anaerobic fermentation. This uses 1% EM-1 mother culture (10ml per 1 litre brew for example).
Activated EM-1 is brewed anaerobically in the same way as bokashi but without using bran. This liquid can be used as a household cleaner. Activated EM-1 can be sprayed onto sufaces to clean or to neutralise odours.
