Divining
Rod Instructions
Divining
Rods can be used in a similar way to dowsing pendulums. They too
can answer questions that your conscious mind does not seem to
know about. People also use Divining Rods for locating energy
lines, underground water and metal, lost objects and much more.
If
you have never used Divining Rods before it may surprise you how
quickly they respond when picked up. They may well start off by
swirling about everywhere. A suggested way to hold them (and you
may find that your Divining Rods are best held another way altogether)
is to stand straight in a relaxed stance with the rods held out
in front of you, parallel to the ground and pointing slightly
down.
When
you are comfortable, centred and grounded ask the Divining Rods
for their "yes" position and then their "no"
position. Whatever the rods do for each of these is the correct
way for you. Divining Rods can behave differently with different
people. Another method is to draw a line on a piece of paper with
a yes written on one side of the line and a no written on the
other. Hold the rod in the middle and ask your question (which
should have a yes or a no answer). The rod will swing to one side
or the other in answer to your question.

Divining
for missing items or a buried artifact or treasure
A
Divining Rod can be used for finding missing or buried items.
Take one of the Divining Rods in your hand and ask either silently
or out loud where the missing/buried item is. Slowly turn around
and the rod will stay pointing in the direction of the missing
object even though you are continuing to turn. Now take both Divining
Rods and walk in that direction. When you reach the position of
the missing item the Divining Rods will cross over. This method
can also be used over a map.
