The Latin name for astragalus is Radix Astragali Membranaceus and the Chinese name is Huang Qi. It is part of the milk vetch family.
Astragalus is one of natures true superfoods and is used all over the world as an immune enhancer and adaptogenic. An adaptogenic is something that will balance all body systems.
