Astragalus
The Latin name for astragalus is Radix Astragali Membranaceus and the Chinese name is Huang Qi. It is part of the milk vetch family.
It has a pleasant taste and has a texture that is almost like coconut. It is fairly soft and can be ground in a coffee grinder. It is possible to grow this in the UK.
SORRY ASTRAGALUS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM THE BLUE SUN however the seeds for growing your own will soon be added to our range of products for those in the UK only.
